Professor Rik Pieters, from Católica Lisbon was named 2023 Association of Consumer Research Fellow. This fellowship is the ACR's highest honor for scholarship and contribution to the consumer behavior discipline.  

The Association for Consumer Research (AC) is the International organization that unites all consumer behavior researchers in the world. It was founded in 1969 at the Ohio State University and organized its 50th Conference in October 2022, Denver, Colorado. The first ACR fellow was awarded in 1980 to James F. Engel and John A. Howard.  

As an ACR Fellow, Prof. Pieters is a lifetime member of ACR and he will give an invited, ACR Fellow's address at a special session during ACR's conference in Seattle, Washington, October 26-29, 2023.   

Rik Pieters has been working with CUBE’s junior and senior faculty for years, and has become a valued collaborator to the CATÓLICA-LISBON Marketing and Consumer Behavior research group. His main fields of interest are marketing communication, consumer behavior and research methodology.
