Católica Lisbon Research Unit in Business & Economics (CUBE) would like to invite you to attend a full day event devoted to Funding Opportunities in Horizon 2020 for 2018-2019, with a special focus on Social Sciences.

CUBE Director, Professor David Patient, will preside the welcome session.

Daniela Guerra (CUBE), will introduce the H2020 research and innovation program and give an overview of funding opportunities in the Societal Challenge 6 - Europe in a changing world.

Margarida Santos (GPPQ) the National Contact Point of Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), will provide insightful information concerning funding opportunities in MSCA.

Sandra Martins Pereira (CEGE) will share her experience in submitting proposals to MSCA Innovative Training Networks (ITN), and best practices to write competitive proposals.

Ana Sofia Carvalho (CEGE), European Commission expert for ethics evaluation will address the importance of ethics and integrity in developing responsible research and innovation activities.

The workshop will close with a roundtable with Joana Camilo (ICS), executive director of CREATING HEALTH – Research and Innovation Funding, and the previous speakers, to discuss best practices on how to elaborate proposals and how to succeed in H2020.

All sessions will have a Q&A to ensure a dialogue with the participants.
