Application Deadlines

Application Rounds - General Regime

Students who are Portuguese or who have European Union citizenship can apply within the 5 rounds indicated below. 

Applicants are advised to apply as early as possible, especially international students. 

Rounds

1st round: 2 December, 2:00 p.m. Lisbon time - 6 January
Results: 28 January

2nd round: 7 January - 3 March
Results: 1 April 

3rd round: 4 March - 5 May
Results: 3 June

4th round (limited spots): 6 May - 12 June
Results: 8 July

5th round (limited spots): 13 June - mid July on date to be confirmed
Results: July, date to be confirmed

International Student Status

Students who are among the International Student Status, namely who do not have European Union citizenship, nor have been residing in Portugal for more than two years, must apply by submitting the Declaration on Honor duly filled and signed.

Students can apply until 12 June, within one of the first 4 rounds. Applications close on that date.

Visa students are recommended to apply as soon as possible. 

Transfer Applications

Transfer students can apply until 12 June, within one of the first 4 rounds. Applications close on that date.

Transfer applications are submitted through the application online platform by selecting the option "transfer applicant". 

Students who are among the International Student Status cannot proceed with a transfer application.

Online Application

The Application to our Programs is submitted through our Online Application Platform.

After creating your user profile, you may login to begin your application. You will be allowed to make changes and save a draft version of your application until you choose to submit the final version.

To submit your Application you will be required to provide Personal and Academic information and documents.

All documents submitted during the Online Application Process are in digital format. Certified Paper Versions will only be requested on the First Day of classes.

 

IMPORTANT: If the submitted documents are written in a language other than English you will also need to provide an official translation in English by a registered sworn translator. The translation must be attached to the original document.

Recommended: 80% or higher (16.0/20 in the Portuguese scale)
Minimum: 50% or higher (10.00/20, without rounding, in the Portuguese scale)

  • Second Entrance Exam Grade

Recommended: 80% or higher (16.0/20 in the Portuguese scale)
Minimum: 50% or higher (10.00/20, without rounding, in the Portuguese scale)

  • English Proficiency

Recommended: C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
Minimum: B2 level according to CEFR

Requirements

To submit the Application, Applicants must fulfill all mandatory requirements. The academic performance is the factor we consider the most important, as it is the best indicator of your future success at the attendance of the International Undergraduate Program at CATÓLICA-LISBON.

We also take into consideration the applicant’s profile requirements, for instance, the English Proficiency, the Personal Statement and the Curriculum Vitae (CV) are 15% of the application formula.
