In early April, CATÓLICA-LISBON and Bankinter Portugal signed a collaboration agreement aimed at providing executive education to the bank’s employees. Through this partnership, Bankinter professionals will have facilitated access to CATÓLICA-LISBON’s open enrollment executive programs throughout the remainder of the year.

According to Nuno Moreira da Cruz, Dean for Executive Education at CATÓLICA-LISBON, the agreement reflects the school’s strategic vision of the role of training in the corporate world: “Executive education is an extension of corporate strategy that delivers practical, customized solutions to achieve business objectives. Investing in the development of people is an investment in the future. It is a privilege to collaborate with institutions like Bankinter, which not only seek a strong market position, but also understand that the smartest way to get there is by developing their talent”.

Pedro Ervilha, Chief Financial Officer, Head of People Management and Communications, and member of the Executive Committee at Bankinter Portugal, sees the partnership as a reinforcement of the bank’s internal commitment to talent development: “This collaboration strengthens our commitment to valuing our employees by providing them with access to high-quality training that complements our annual development plan”.

Internationally recognized for the quality and innovation of its programs, CATÓLICA-LISBON was ranked 27th in Europe for executive education by the Financial Times Executive Education 2024. The school has featured in this prestigious ranking for 17 consecutive years, showing consistent and positive progression over time.

With this partnership, CATÓLICA-LISBON reaffirms its commitment to supporting organizations in developing strategic capabilities and preparing leaders to navigate the complexities of a constantly evolving business landscape.
