In line with the international experience and to open up new horizons, CATÓLICA-LISBON also has protocols with universities in over 40 countries for exchange programs, through the Erasmus program and other protocols, such as Double Degrees or the International Tri-School Exchange.

In third year, students set out to gain an enriching international experience, doing one or two exchange semesters. This not only opens the doors to new cultures and languages and greater self-awareness, but it also broadens their horizons. This experience is highly valued, both by recruiting companies and when applying for a master's degree course.

Learn in Action is a development program for personal skills development which is included in the compulsory study plan and has been developed exclusively for our bachelor’s degree students.

The aim is to take practice a little further, with training devoted to the essential skills needed for the labor market and the opportunity to take part in different extracurricular activities, including internships, volunteering and even entrepreneurial projects that will generate richer resumés and more complete people.

Elective Subjects

CATÓLICA-LISBON bachelor’s degree students have the opportunity to personalize their curricular plan, which will allow them to choose a set of elective subjects according to their areas of greater interest.

The range of subjects on offer is varied and includes subjects taught in different faculties at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, as well as other foreign universities that the students go to during the exchange period.
