Plan the Trimester Before Enrolling!
MSc students will have to complete a certain amount of ECTS in company activities and workshops. Most activities will grant points that will then be converted into ECTS.
Unlike with regular courses, CAL enrollment is done on the careerNETwork/symplicity platform. Some days before the dates mentioned below, all students receive an e-mail to check the activities on offer.

There will be several activities running simultaneously, so you will have to choose carefully. Not all activities and workshops will be offered in all trimesters. Remember that skipping a Workshop / Company session is unfair to students that wanted to attend but didn't get a slot.
On that note, if you have to complete 4 ECTS, each trimester you will be assigned a Grade based on your attendance in workshops and company activities (more information below).
After enrolling on workshops, you will have to access Moodleto attend them. (To access you must use your student credentials). Activities have different duration and they will be delivered in a blended format with asynchronous and/or synchronous moments.
The CAL Grade is exclusive for the programs that require 4 ECTS for CAL. It takes into consideration the number of points, your professionalism, career involvement and your profile.
Reported will be the overall grade on 0-100 scale, along with its components.
1 Minimum of 57 Activity points is required to complete the CAL requirement of the study plan.
2 The final grade of the Career Accelerator Lab is a weighted average grade from all four dimensions. At the end of the program, the grade for Career Accelerator Lap will appear on the student’s transcript as "Excellent" (90-100), "VeryGood" (80-89), "Good" (70-79), "Sufficient" (50-69).
3 This includes any activities for which a student enrolled and did not complete without justified reason (according to the School and CAL regulations). Bear in mind that this category can go down to a negative percentage if students are not approved to a high number of activities.
You will be able to check your current grade on Symplicity after each trimester. The final grade will be issued on eSCA/Fénix during your dissertation semester. Or at the end of the 4th trimester, if you are a Double Degree student.
