Professor at Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics where he has been teaching since 1995, having as main interests negotiation, conflict management, interpersonal communication and persuasion. João has extensive experience in training executives, having taught face-to-face and online seminars on the topics mentioned above for numerous companies and national and international entities that operate in the most diverse economic sectors. He received the Distinguished Teaching award from the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics several times (Executive Education 2022; Executive Master in Leadership Development 2021/2022; Executive Master in Digital Innovation 2021/2022; Executive Master 2020/2021). Coordinator and professor of the “Specialization Program in Negotiation” (22 editions completed). Degree in Management and MBA from Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics. Certified in Negotiation Research & Teaching by the Dispute Resolution Research Center at the Kellogg School of Management. Certified in Business Communication by the American Management Association. Graduated from the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School and the Negotiations & Influence Program at the Haas School of Business (University of California Berkeley). João has been publishing a number of articles in the online newspaper Observador and he is a speaker at several CATÓLICA-LISBON webinars.
