Tural Karimli is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Catolica Lisbon School of Business and Economics. Tural earned his Ph.D. in Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management in 2024.
His research focuses on the interaction between labor and finance, households' participation in debt and equity markets, and the role of behavioral factors in individuals' financial decisions. He is also interested in applying machine learning and natural language processing techniques to construct and understand hard-to-measure factors in these research areas.
Tural won the Best Paper Award in Investment and Asset Pricing at the Midwest Finance Association Meeting in 2024.
