Bachelor degree in Economics by Lisbon School of Economics & Management (ISEG); specialist in Hospital Administration by National School of Public Health at Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, and post-graduated in Health Services Administration by Moderna University.
Currently, he oversees some tasks as Project Manager in CFP – Portuguese Public Finance Council (since March 2021). Previously, he worked as Executive Director at the ACSS – Health System Central Administration – Directive Council (between March 2016 and March 2021); as Director of ACSS Department of Management and Financing of Health Benefits (May 2012 to March 2016); as Director of the Contractual Department at ARS Alentejo (May 2008 to May 2012); as Advisor of ARS Alentejo Directive Council (May 2006 to May 2008), and as Senior Technician (July 2002 to February 2005) at the Foreigner Services of the Hospital of São Paulo – Serpa (current Local Health Unit of Baixo Alentejo).
