Associate Director at EDP Comercial in Portugal, with an academic background in Computer Science.
He is responsible for the Business Enablement and Transformation team at EDP Comercial, which ensures process management, knowledge, digital acceleration, automation, and process intelligence.
He was at the origin of EDP's robotic process automation initiative, where the first automated process appeared in 2015, and began to lead the Process Mining initiative in 2017. In 2019, he led the first project to build a Chatbot+RPA solution and his team received the Portugal Digital Award (IDC) for the Process Intelligence program. He co-authored the book Process Mining in Action by Dr. Lars Reinkemeyer. His most recent experience is managing an intelligent operations ecosystem where several digital accelerators interact with each other.
Over the past 20 years, he has worked with different companies in various industries, transforming the way of doing business through technology.
