He has a law degree and a master's degree in legal sciences from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica Portuguesa. He is a Partner in the Labor practice area and has consolidated experience in providing legal services in all matters related to individual and collective labor relations and social security. He combines his work as a lawyer with university teaching and has been a member of various bodies that carry out activities in the area of Labor Law, namely as a member of the Commission for the Revision of the Labor Code, Arbitrator President of the Economic and Social Council and responsible for drawing up the Annual Report on the Evolution of Collective Bargaining. He is also the author of several books and articles on labor law issues. He received the Portuguese Lawyer of the Year award in the area of Labor Law.
