She served as Director of Strategy & Corporate Development at Jerónimo Martins Group, reporting directly to the Board. From 2004 to 2014, she also held positions as Deputy Corporate Secretary, Customer Ombudsman, and representative at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development and COTEC, among others. Previously, she led several business units within the Group, overseeing Procurement, Category Management, and Private Label Development. She was also part of senior management teams studying the organizational and digital transformation of the Group in 2001. She began her executive career at the American multinational Procter & Gamble, in the Marketing division, joining the team that launched the subsidiary in Portugal.
She holds a degree in Management and Business Administration from Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics and has received certification in various advanced training areas from renowned schools, including Corporate Governance & ESG at Católica-Lisbon, Driving Strategic Innovation at IMD/MIT, Value Based Management at Nova SBE, Balanced Scorecard Program at Norton & Kaplan Institute, Advanced Management Program at Nova/Insead, Advanced Food Program at Cornell University, and P&G Academy, among others.
