Luís Amaral is the CEO and Chairman of Eurocash Group, one of the largest FMCG wholesalers and retailers in Poland. Under his leadership, the company has become a dominant market player.
He is also the Co-Founder of GirlMOVE Academy, a Mozambican Leadership Academy that promotes women’s education and leadership through an intergenerational circular mentoring model, recently recognized ny UNESCO as the best education program for girls and women.
Career Highlights
Luís began his career at Unilever Portugal and held senior roles at Nissan Portugal. He transitioned to Jerónimo Martins Poland in 1995, where he helped grow its operations exponentially. In 2003, Luís led a management buyout of Eurocash and subsequently grew the company into a publicly traded industry leader.
