With a BA in Communication from Catholic University, Duarte started his career path in that field, in a large corporation facing a privatization process. That experience made him realize the importance of communication, not only when it comes to mobilizing people, but also to transform and manage change in organizations. Passionate about people, he has been working in talent management, particularly in Executive Search, Career Management and Organizational Development. At CATÓLICA-LISBON he works in Executive Education, designing and delivering customized learning solutions for companies.
Duarte has, from the very beginning, a passion for aviation, arts, architecture and design, as well as for animals. He was a cabin crew member, studied music, did theatre, and launched a project to support local animal welfare associations.
He believes that combining knowledge from different fields, as well as forging ties between universities and companies, are catalysts to society’s progress.
