Abel Sequeira Ferreira is a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Director of AEM - Associação de Empresas Emitentes de Valores Cotados em Mercado, and member of the Board of Directors of the European Issuers federation.
Lawyer and Master in Law, he is currently preparing his PhD thesis on Corporate Governance, to be presented at the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica.
Among several other positions he holds, he is also a member of the Executive Committee for the Follow-up and Monitoring of the IPCG Corporate Governance Code, and a member of the Steering Committee responsible for revising the same code in 2020 and 2023.
