To the Católica-Lisbon SBE academic community,

It was with deep sadness that we received the news of the passing of Professor Luís Caeiro. For over 50 years, Luís served Universidade Católica Portuguesa and Católica-Lisbon SBE with enormous dedication, generosity, and professionalism, both in degree programs and Executive Education.

He was a lecturer to the very first undergraduate students in Business Administration in the first half of the 1970s. He distinguished himself through his humanity and kindness, present in everything he did, as well as his endless curiosity, his knowledge across multiple areas of management, and his dedication to his students, for whom he was a great source of inspiration and knowledge. A specialist in the fields of Leadership and People Management, he authored several reference works, including three books on leadership published over the last 3 years.

In recent decades, he dedicated himself particularly to Executive Education at Católica-Lisbon SBE. He left an indelible mark on thousands of participants through the excellence of his classes, his ability to inspire leaders, and the extraordinary human quality he brought to everything he did. He was an exceptional professor, recognized by successive generations of Executive Education participants as one of the most impactful professors in their learning journey.

His legacy will live on through the knowledge he shared, the books he published, the leaders he helped shape, and the example of competence, generosity, and commitment to education that he leaves behind to inspire us.

On Thursday, July 2nd, he will lie in honor starting at 5:00 PM at the Mortuary Chapels of the Church of Santíssima Trindade – Miraflores (https://maps.app.goo.gl/RizKm4FMPWiqusUF8).

On Friday, July 3rd, the Religious Service will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by the procession to the Barcarena Crematorium at 11:30 AM.
