This year, the 2017 Lisbon Accounting Conference organized by Catolica Lisbon and Nova School of Business and Economics took place at Nova SBE on Monday, June 12, 2017 and was again a huge success. The 3rd edition of the Lisbon Accounting Conference brought together 38 leading international accounting scholars in an informal setting for a one-day conference of high-quality academic papers.

The main topics of this year’s conference were Risk, Disclosures and Analysts. The conference counted with researchers from the Boston University, Boston College, Columbia Business School, IE, IESE Business School, Indiana University, Lancaster University, London School of Economics, University of Chicago, University of Exeter, University of Mannheim, University of North Carolina, among others.

The conference was sponsored by Cambridge Business Publishers, Banco de Portugal and FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia, to whom we would like to thank for their generous contribution.
