Professional Student Clubs are a vital part of the academic experience provided by Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics. Groups of students create Clubs within their areas of interest with the purpose of organizing events or activities that foster networking and contact between the CATÓLICA-LISBON students and the business world. The Clubs are responsible for arranging an array of events such as workshops and conferences with well-known speakers and open days at several companies. The Clubs are supported by the Careers & Talent Office and may also collaborate with school departments on specific projects.
Goals of the Professional Clubs
- To represent the School in all interactions with companies, alumni and other institutions;
- To organize career-oriented activities and events in a professional environment for recruitment, learning or networking purposes;
- To provide CATÓLICA-LISBON students with the opportunity to enroll in several activities broken down into their individual areas of interest (e.g. marketing, finance, economics, etc).

For that we promote entrepreneurship in every university student by creating projects and organizing events with the most innovative minds in every knowledge area.

Our club is designed to shape your personal skill set of business competencies to stand out of the crowd in professional life – no matter which industry you are aiming at.

Católica & Consulting Linked (C&CL) brings together students with diverse backgrounds to let them interact and create fresh and innovative approaches in consultancy.
We offer students the opportunity to work on real consulting projects and organize various events and workshops to enhance their skills and develop a network by engaging with experts.

Our aim is to promote the economic science around the student community, with the support of Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics expertise. We hope to foster a stronger interest in economics and to help students develop a critical opinion on relevant economic topics.
The CATÓLICA-LISBON Economics Club publishes its digital OP-ED (opinion column), The Economic Choice, focused on bi-mensal articles providing analysis and opinions regarding trending economic issues. These articles are written by members of the club. Every edition includes a Professor’s Profile, presenting a Professor’s research interests, academic achievements and views on current economic topics.
Additionally, we provide a weekly outlook covering the most important economic developments of the week.
Furthermore, with the support of Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics the Club organises events (conferences and debates) about National and International issues covering the economic part and other fields of study.

We are a team of university students, mentored by worldwide recognizedcompanies (Deloitte Portugal and Fundação Manuel Violante - social organization of Mckinsey Portugal) that apply their knowledge and expertise to develop, pro-bono consulting projects to socially relevant NGO’s. Our mission is to apply the know-how gathered by university students in practical situations that allow us to leave a positive footprint in our society. 180 Degrees Consulting is present in more than 30 countries with more than 90 branches and our goals are threefold: empower students to be the best versions of themselves, reduce world problems by increasing the effectiveness of existing social organizations and put the knowledge acquired by students over the years to good use.
The Católica Coding Club (CCC) is a student club at Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics that focuses on developing solutions to business related tasks through computer programming.
The CCC seeks to motivate, inspire and create a platform where members can learn together and especially from one another. The club's vision is to prepare students to better deal with the challenges of the future. Members of the CCC work on coding projects in small teams. The club uses GitHub to facilitate an easy collaboration on coding projects. By working on these projects, members of the CCC are developing a base level of understanding of the world of coding with Python, as it is one of the most popular and versatile programming languages. In due time and depending on demand, other programming languages will be added.
The CCC also invites guest speakers to Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics to speak on topics related to coding in a business context.
Women in Business Club
Women in Business Club (WIB) at Católica Business School celebrates and enhances women’s leadership. WIB s a unique platform that provides support and tools to aspiring women leaders through a suite of activities. Our main purpose is to hold events and have relationships across industries: consulting, tech, entrepreneurship… to influence current students and shape future generations. We strongly believe that our events are a fantastic opportunity for students, alumnae and practitioners to engage with the pressing issues facing women in leadership positions today – and to connect with and inspire one another.
Our goal is to build an aspirational, relevant and engaging community to:
• Ensure the overall development of women at our school through open forums, networking events and other initiatives.
• Promote gender sensitisation in the workplace to help cultivate a more gender equal corporate culture across industries.
• Initiate conversations with women leaders and translate these experiences into opportunities for students at large at Católica Lisbon School.
CATÓLICAxLAB is dedicated to foster knowledge, innovation and motivation. We want to encourage all members of the CATÓLICA-LISBON community to think outside-the-box and work on their own "ideas worth spreading". CATÓLICAxLAB should be the platform to inspire, motivate and educate their fellows by creating and spreading ideas that have an impact on society.
It is CATÓLICAxLAB’s goal to organize every year a TEDx event at our university and plan related workshops on campus to develop new ideas on topics that matter. We want to create a hub of students and inspiring thinkers who spark interesting discussions, show different perspectives and help the CATÓLICA-LISBON community to think in new ways.
In Católica Lisbon Students’ Union we spent the day focused on the reason that drives us: focused on you. The reason our work makes sense and that we continue to improve it day by day continues to be our students. Our role is to represent you and your colleagues in the best possible way, prioritizing the interests and individual needs of each student.
It is up to us to follow your academic record and to be always close and present to whatever you need. Always relying on our good relations with the Director of the School and the Dean of the University, built through a healthy dialogue every day. This way it is easier to demonstrate the point of view of our students in the best possible way and support you in any less favorable situation that may occur.

We are a global network of young leaders under the age of 30 who strive to better themselves and the communities around them. We are passionate about world issues, leadership development, cultural understanding and experiential learning. The organisation spans 126 countries and territories and every aspect of AIESEC’s operations are managed by students and recent graduates.
AIESEC's purpose is to strive for peace and the fulfillment of Humankind's potential, and the way we do it is by developing leadership in young people through cross-cultural experiences.
These experiences include:
Global Volunteer, an international volunteering experience, working with an ONG in another country for 6 to 8 weeks;
Global Entrepreneur, an international internship experience, working in a startup in another country for 6 to 12 weeks;
Global Talent, an international internship experience, working in a company in another country for 6 months to 1 year.
MOVE is an NGO that sees entrepreneurship as the mean to empower young people, families and communities in developing, peripheral or less autonomous or productive areas of the world. Through consultancy projects, MOVE "credits hope" by empowering local communities with the essential features and tools that will allow them to shape and build a more sustainable future. Twice a year, teams of 5 to 6 volunteers departure to Sao Tome and Principe, Timor-Leste, and Sao Miguel, in the Azores, where they stay for 6 months. The sharing of management knowledge, from ethics to marketing, the brainstorming of ideas, and the development of soft skills build a solid and ambitious future for both individuals and the surrounding community. MOVE's work on the field seeks to create and strengthen future leaders by encouraging critical and entrepreneurial spirit. MOVE believes that good leaders generate better businesses and that better businesses lead to stronger and more sustainable living conditions, and that the key to this formula is young people who are eager to put what they have learned in life and in the classroom to the service of others.
The purpose of the International Club is to enrich the life of foreign students by helping them integrate at our University and in Lisbon. The International Club is completely devoted to international students and assists the International Relations Office in the organization of the welcome events and outdoor activities to promote interaction between the students throughout the academic year. Students may ask the International Club for any information they need in the first days after arrival and the team will try their best to assist them.
