Under the direction of Maestro Eduardo Lála, the Big Band offers an inclusive and collaborative environment where music transcends cultural and linguistic barriers. It’s more than just a band; it’s a space for personal growth and for building a strong sense of community and belonging.
At CATÓLICA-LISBON, where we shape the future leaders of the business world, the Big Band is a perfect example of how collaboration, creativity, and synergy are essential—both in music and in the business world. Just as in an orchestra, every instrument plays a vital role, but it’s the harmony between them that creates an unforgettable melody. Since its inception, the band has offered a diverse musical journey, with performances ranging from timeless classics like Ben E. King to contemporary icons like Amy Winehouse, as well as the melodies of Bill Withers and The Beatles.
