From 6 to 8 November, learn about our School's initiatives at the largest technology conference in the world

CATÓLICA-LISBON is once again the only Business School present at the Web Summit and for the third consecutive year. With a partnership signed since the first edition, the School has been the chosen partner for training the top executives of the Web Summit. According to Dean Nuno Fernandes, "we are extremely proud to be chosen by the Web Summit for this challenge. It is the recognition of our international projection and the role that our school has played in training top executives around the world."

For this year's edition, CATÓLICA-LISBON has prepared a truly special program, taking place at the School's stand during the days of the Web Summit.

Thus, we invite all those who want to visit us to meet some of our specialists in topics as varied as: Entrepreneurship & Innovation in Fashion & Luxury with Professor Céline Abecassis-Moedas; Fintech Disruption: from social mobility to the blockchain with Professor Paulo Cardoso do Amaral; Marketing Research & Online Data Panels with Professor Rita Coelho do Vale. But, this is not all, we will also count on Professor René Bohnsack available to share solutions of Digital Business Models for Smart Cities and Professor João Ribeiro da Costa that will address the topic Design Thinking & Service Design. On the last day of the Web Summit, you can still learn about Building Tech Brands with Professor Kyryl Lakishyk and on The Perils and Promises of Innovation with Professor Raffaele Conti.

CATÓLICA-LISBON will also launch the Women Entrepreneurship Award, an initiative of its Center for Technological Innovation & Entrepreneurship, on November 6 at 11am, which aims to elect an entrepreneurial woman who distinguished herself by the contribution already made and the prospect for the future, in terms of her capacity for entrepreneurship and value generation in the established business environment in Portugal.

With this award, the Center for Technological Innovation & Entrepreneurship of CATÓLICA-LISBON intends to promote and improve the visibility of women and their role in the business world.

Also on November 6, at 7:30 pm at the CATÓLICA-LISBON building, our Dean, Nuno Fernandes will be talking to Lucas Joppa, Microsoft's Chief Environmental Officer, in another Dean's Speaker Series initiative.

And, on November 7, the School will launch the Executive Program: Smart Cities, a Major Revolution, addressing a real need for the sustainable cities of the future.

But the surprises do not end here. Throughout the Web Summit, you can also schedule a private conversation to meet and discuss the most varied issues with CATÓLICA-LISBON’s Dean Nuno Fernandes.

Come and join us at the Web Summit and take part in our photo contest. The most creative photos and with more likes will receive prizes and will allow you to remember this Web Summit event forever. More information here.
