The Master’s in Management at Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics climbed 17 positions this year in the Financial Times Ranking, which annually assesses the 100 best Master’s in Management worldwide, reaching the 28th position. This is the most expressive rise among the European Schools in the TOP50.

In the year in which it celebrates 50 years of pioneering the launch of higher education in Management in Portugal, CATÓLICA-LISBON continues to see its Master’s in Management recognized, which has obtained the best position ever since it has been present in this ranking for 12 years.

Among the various criteria that contribute to these results, such as the employability rate of 98% in the 3 months after completing the master's degree or the 64% salary increase in the following 3 years, it is also worth mentioning the high proportion of Professors (38 %) and international students (92%), as well as gender parity in students and teachers. This remarkable cultural diversity contributes to the enrichment of the learning and academic experience.

The fact that the Financial Times considers CATÓLICA-LISBON's Masters in Management the 28th best in the world, reflects well the talent that CATÓLICA-LISBON manages to attract in teachers and students, as well as the quality of knowledge generated and rigor in learning, which leads to the success of this program as a launching pad for the extraordinary international careers of its graduates.

This rise in the Master's in Management rankings follows this year's rise by CATÓLICA-LISBON from six positions in the Master's in Finance rankings to the 17th position in the world, and having ascended for the first time to the TOP 30 of executive training worldwide, being the School in the World that rose the most, according to the Financial Times.

Filipe Santos, Dean of CATÓLICA-LISBON: “The results of the Rankings are a source of pride for our School for the success that our graduates have shown in their careers! This year, CATÓLICA-LISBON’s community is doubly to be congratulated, as we celebrate 50 years of pioneering in Management teaching in Portugal and all the ranking results have been extraordinary. We are the European School in the TOP 50 that has risen the most in these world rankings of Master’s in Management to 28th position, which adds to the rise in June of six places in the ranking of Master’s in Finance to 17th position in the world. We are also the School in the world that has climbed the most in the executive training rankings to the 27th position in the world and the best Portuguese School in programs for companies, being in the TOP 20 worldwide. This is a validation of our strategy of affirmation for the quality and rigor of our knowledge and learning, being currently one of the best management schools in the world. This result inspires us to do more and better to form a new generation of leaders capable of being agents of transformation and innovation in companies and society.”
