Two Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics (CLSBE) researchers have been included in the top list of most downloaded and cited authors in top-tier peer reviewed journals. This list was compiled by Wiley, a global online publisher of scientific journals.

The paper was published by Professor René Bohnsack in Journal of Management Studies on September 2020.

The high download and citation rate shows the level of interest in the field of digital transformation, as well as the impact among academics and practitioners. A brief description of the main findings of the paper is provided below. A more extensive blog post that synthesizes the study can be found here:

What is Digital Transformation?

Professor René Bohnsack co-authored the paper A Systematic Review of the Literature on Digital Transformation: Insights and Implications for Strategy and Organizational Change with André Hanelt (University of Kassel), David Marz (University of Göttingen) and Cláudia Antunes Marante (Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics). In this study, the authors synthesize what is known about digital transformation, derived key thematic patterns and related them to established knowledge about organizational change. Contributing to reduce the confusion around the term “digital transformation”, the authors created a typology of digital transformation’s perspectives.
