Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics is ranked as the 22nd Best European Business School, according to the Financial Times European Business Schools Ranking 2024. While maintaining its 2023 position, this is the school’s best ranking ever among this group of leading institutions. It’s worth noting that CATÓLICA-LISBON was the first Portuguese Business School to be included in this ranking and has consistently been placed at the top since 2012.

The 2024 ranking aggregates results from the Master in Management, Executive Education, and MBA program rankings. This outstanding achievement highlights CATÓLICA-LISBON’s global leadership across all these areas. This steady and consistent progress has placed CATÓLICA-LISBON among the top European Business Schools, climbing ten positions in just four years – from 32nd to 22nd place.

According to Filipe Santos, Dean of Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics, “this success is a testament to the talent and dedication of our students, alumni, faculty, and staff. CATÓLICA-LISBON is today a hub for attracting world-class faculty and students, a generator of cutting-edge knowledge in economics and management, and a launchpad for successful careers that make a true impact on society. Congratulations also to our sister school, Católica Porto Business School, for joining the ranking of the Best Business Schools in Europe. Additionally, congratulations to our University, which celebrates not only having two business schools among Europe’s best but also being recognized as the Most Entrepreneurial University in Portugal by Start-up Portugal at the Web Summit. Portugal also deserves recognition in this ranking, as having six business schools recognized should be a source of pride for all Portuguese people and a sign of the quality of management education in the country. It is a privilege for CATÓLICA-LISBON to have been a pioneer and leader in this process of internationalizing Portuguese business schools.”
