Daniel Fernandes, Associate Professor of Marketing at Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics, has been ranked among the top 50 best undergraduate Professors in business schools around the world, according to Poets&Quants. He is the only Professor in Portugal to have been included in this list.
This annual acknowledgement by Poets&Quants, which is now on its third edition, is intended to highlight the work of undergraduate Professors who have a significant impact on their students’ academic record. In order to be highlighted, Professors are nominated by students and staff members, who evaluate them and explain their nomination. Later, they are evaluated by the editorial team at Poets&Quants in two categories: research and teaching, which are averaged in order to generate a final score. For 2020’s Top 50, 107 Professors were evaluated out of over 800 nominations.
In the light of the academic community’s recognition, Daniel Fernandes states that “it is intensely gratifying to know that I have had a positive impact in my students’ intellectual and academic paths.”
