To ensure your Exchange at CATÓLICA-LISBON runs as smoothly as possible, the International Office Team has compiled a comprehensive list of Academic Information to guide you throughout your mobility period.

Nomination and Selection of Exchange Students

To study as an Exchange student at CATÓLICA-LISBON, you must first be selected and nominated* by one of our partner Universities. Please contact your University's International Relations Office Coordinator for information on how to apply. 

 

Nomination Deadlines (done by the partner universities):
  • First/Fall Semester and Academic Year: April 1st - April 30th
  • Second/Spring Semester: October 1st - October 31st

 

*Please note that we no longer accept Free-Mover students!

Application and Course Selection

Students will be contacted directly by e-mail after the nomination period is officially over. All applications should be submitted through our incoming platform MyExchange. 

Application Deadlines:

  • First/Fall Semester and Academic Year: 1st – 31st May
  • Spring Semester/Second Semester: 1st – 30th Novembe

 

Students must complete the following steps:

  • Online Application Profile (link for MyExchange platform sent by e-mail) .
  • Online Course Enrollment (instructions sent via e-mail). Course Enrollment takes place 2 months after the Application Procedure. Before that, students will receive their individual credentials.

After completing the Application and Course Selection Procedures, the International Office will provide you with the following information on:

Personal Information

To access all the important academic and administrative information in CATÓLICA-LISBON's student personal area, our IT Department will send you your personal data by e-mail: student number, login, and password.

Course Enrollment

After the course selection procedures you will receive the confirmation of the courses you are enrolled in and access to your schedule for the semester.

Welcome Day

Our primary goal is to help you get to know our school and other Exchange Students in a short timescale. We believe the activities organized during the Welcome Day hasten the integration of the exchange students, facilitating contact with the other students and providing all the necessary information about the school and life in Lisbon.

Before your arrival, you will receive detailed information about the special activities prepared for you, to introduce you to the University and Lisbon.
