Executive Master in Impact and Sustainability Management
The main goal of the executive master’s degree in impact management and sustainability is to provide their participants with a deeper knowledge in the trends of sustainability and social innovation worldwide, giving them the tools and skills so they know how to put sustainability in the strategical centre of companies’ decisions and be able to develop successfully projects of social impact, not only in the corporate context, but also in public and private sector, as well as through impact start-ups.
The programme, aimed at innovation and action, is assured by a great teaching staff, distinguished by internationally renowned releases in the fields of social innovation and sustainability and with a strong connection with the implementation of innovative solutions.
It also benefits from the work of knowledge transfer, applied research and executive training of the Chair in Social Innovation and the Centre for Responsible Business & Leadership of CATÓLICA-LISBON.
This program aims to develop the following skills:
- Understanding global trends in consumer, environmental and social sustainability, as well as in areas of risk and opportunity for companies.
- Finding the alignment between companies’ economic objectives and sustainable development objectives, developing a "business case for action".
- In-depth knowledge of the social innovation ecosystem and the action model of social entrepreneurs.
- Knowing how to finance, invest and support impact projects within a logic of social investment and impact philanthropy.
- Developing innovative business models and managing impact projects in different organizational contexts.
- Establishing partnerships and cross-sector collaborations to achieve common impact goals.
- Being an agent of change in society by developing the foundation and network for a career with impact.
