The fact that the program is taught both in Portuguese and English was quite attractive since both languages are part of my daily life!

The imperative need for responsible innovation that can contribute to a sustainable development of the planet promoting a balance between economic, social and environmental performances implies a refocus of all the attention on the importance of integral development of people as human beings. To feel more empowered in this change of paradigm I tried to deepen my knowledge with a program that would allow me to discover, explore and face new challenges in the development of communication strategies, negotiation and persuasion and related progress monitored through "tools" for measurement subsequent changes and results.

It is hard to highlight any particular aspect of this course since my various expectations were amply realised. However, the fact that it had a very accentuated practical component, which served to support and prepare participants for energetic and interactive sessions with the various elements of the teaching staff could perhaps be mentioned as the most relevant point. The subsequent application of the knowledge imparted during this course has proved to be a constant asset, both in personal as well as professional terms, especially due to the practical nature of the course contents. In my particular case, my enrolment in this first edition of the 3 Pillars course afforded me the satisfaction of verifying that my best practices were within the statistics but that they required updating, which was definitely achieved while attending this course.

Overcoming the needs and expectations of an interlocutor only happens if the "Communication" is effective, transparent, perceived and validated. But we can go further in the interaction process: "Persuading" and "Negotiating", we will be able to find win-win solutions; the solutions that make the positive difference, in business or in everyday life. Communication and negotiation are very fascinating areas and the 3 Pillars program addresses them in a stimulating and dynamic format, that balances the theory with practice, through exercises and role plays, which lead to an immediate understanding of the potential of the tools and knowledge learnt, that encourages putting them into practice. The use of coaching and 360º feedback methodologies was a very interesting way to deepen our understanding of ourselves and allowed the identification of areas in need of improvement.

These are the theories that I truly use on a daily basis.
