Statistics for Business and Economics

Statistics for Business and Economics is a second year course of the undergraduate programs in Business Administration introducing students to some of the methods of statistical estimation and inference. The main goal of the course is to improve decision making through careful data collection and analysis. The course deals with statistical topics including sampling, statistical inference (estimation and hypothesis testing), and regression analysis. Students will also be introduced to statistical software for quantitative research.
