Opening Borders, Multiplying Opportunities
"Accelerating Internationalization" is a C-suite strategic reflection program designed for top management to explore sustainable pathways for international growth and value creation.
Upon completion, participants are awarded a diploma and become members of the CEO Future Ready Academy—a community of business leaders, academics, and institutional partners committed to ongoing knowledge sharing and collaboration.
This initiative was launched in 2023 by the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, in partnership with the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIP).
What Makes This Program Unique
- 2 site visits to Portuguese companies, including discussions with the Chair and CEO;
- 7 case studies of Portuguese companies, with interactive debates led by the CEOs;
- 3 Game Change sessions designed to activate core leadership skills;

The program will take place on October 31st, November 14th and 28th, and January 9th and 23rd, from 8:45 AM to 7:30 PM.

Reassessing risks and opportunities in a context of uncertainty, volatility, complexity, and ambiguity
Final session: Spurious Opportunities vs. Planned Opportunities
Reassessing strategic orientation and organizational capabilities
Reassess investment capacity and financing alternatives
Promote new internationalization models to accelerate processes and mitigate investment risks.
Validate global trends and invest in building (international) brand equity to capture fair economic value.
Rethink the governance model to reduce business risk and accelerate (international) growth and value creation
Rethink the ESG strategy across the global value chain
Rethinking the organization to lead with ambition and purpose in times of uncertainty, volatility, complexity, and ambiguity

Priority will be given to Portuguese companies and organizations that have enrolled participants in previous editions.
€2,950 per participant – Board and C-suite level. Alumni of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa benefit from an exclusive 10% discount. Additionally, all pre-registrations made by September 3rd will receive an extra 5% discount.
The fee includes:
- All course materials, including books, press articles, and classroom support documentation;
- Transportation for company visits;
- Coffee breaks and lunches;
- Reserved parking space in the covered parking area at CATÓLICA-LISBON;
- Diploma award ceremony.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
- 10% discount for alumni of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, partner companies of the Católica International Business Platform, and member companies of CCIP;
- 5% early-bird discount for registrations submitted by September 3;
- Additional 5% discount for companies enrolling their entire first-line management team across any three program editions (cumulative);

PAYMENT TERMS
- Universidade Católica Portuguesa is exempt from VAT;
