Geraldo Cerqueiro graduated from Tilburg University in 2009 with a PhD degree in Finance, from University Pompeu Fabra in 2003 with a MsC in Economics, and from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa in 2001 with a BA (Licenciatura) in Economics. His research interests include financial intermediation and small business lending. Recently, he has been invited to become Associate Editor for the Journal of Banking and Finance.
