Holds a PhD and an M.Sc. in Economics from the Universite Catholique de Louvain and a B.Sc. (Licenciatura) in Economics from UCP. Fátima Barros was Dean of Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics and President of ANACOM. She has done consulting work in the areas of telecommunications and the automotive industry and was the Director of CATÓLICA-LISBON's Research Center for the Automotive Sector. She coordinated various executive education programs in the fields of economic regulation and competition. Her research focuses on competition policy, economic regulation and incentive contracts.
