Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, where she received her PhD in 2011. Teaches in the areas of Labor, Civil and Commercial Law, in undergraduate, postgraduate and masters courses. Joana was a Consultant to the Legal Center of the Council of Ministers Presidency and was a member of the team that prepared the Draft Labor Code. Has several articles and monographs published in the area of Labor Law and is a consultant for Miranda e Associados - Sociedade de Advogados.
