Under the conference of Banco de Portugal “Desenvolvimento Económico Português no Espaço Europeu" was organized a Session Master's Thesis: Contributions on the Portuguese Economy sponsored by the Bank of Portugal and the Foundation Francisco Manuel dos Santos.

The thesis «The unsecured interbank money market: a description of the Portuguese case» was written by Ana Sofia Saldanha, former student of the Master in Economics of CATÓLICA-LISBON was considered one of the five best theses presented.
