University Closed - 12th to 28th August

Universidade Católica Portuguesa, including all of the administrative services, will be closed from 12th to 28th August.

We will reopen on Tuesday, 29th August.

The Master Student Affairs office will be holding online advisory sessions to introduce the Master program’s study plans to September 2017 Intake students on the following dates and times:

Tuesday, July 11th , from 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm (Lisbon Time)

Wednesday, August 2nd, from 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm (Lisbon Time)

Course Changing Period

On Wednesday, 9th August, students will be able to make changes to their enrollments for the 1st semester (including the 1st and 2nd trimester):

  • Full-time MSc Students will have the chance to change 1 course and 1 technical module or workshop per trimester (up to 2 changes in total).
  • Exchange MSc Students will have the chance to change 1 course and 1 technical module per trimester (up to 2 changes in total).

In October, there will be another course changing period for only the 2nd trimester courses/modules/workshops.

Welcome to Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics!

In order to help you with all your questions, the Master Affairs Office will provide live online counseling sessions. They will take place every Thursday, from 4 pm to 5 pm (Lisbon time), starting on May 04th until August 3th.

Independent Process | Dissertation Proposal

If you will be writing your dissertation via an independent process during the 1st semester of 2017/2018, please submit your dissertation proposal by the following deadlines:

MSc Finance/Management/Business: 22nd June
MSc Economics: 15th September

The proposal should be signed by both you and your advisor, and you can use our recommended template available here.
If you will be abroad during your dissertation semester, this should be indicated in your proposal.

Our MSc students will be defending their thesis in July.

Thesis defences are open to the general public.
