Isabel Jonet distinguished with the Career Award 2006
On the 4th of May, the Board of CATÓLICA-LISBON through its Alumni Office, with the support of its Alumni Association, brought together former students of Economics and Business Administration to celebrate CATÓLICA-LISBON Day.
The CATÓLICA-LISBON Day is an event organized every year to enable former students to meet at the CATÓLICA-LISBON facilities. The main goal of this special day is to distinguish a former student for exceptional professional performance through a Career Award.
The first edition of the Career Award began with a welcome session led by Prof. Fátima Barros, Dean of CATÓLICA-LISBON. Before knowing who is the winner of the Career Award 2006, all the former students and guests present had the opportunity to attend a conference where the speaker was Prof. Antonio Borges, on the topic: "Economic Policy, Prosperity and Income Distribution."
The most keenly anticipated moment came shortly after, with the presentation, by Canon João Seabra, of the Career Award 2006-Isabel Jonet (President of the Portuguese Federation of Food Banks). The Career Award was handed out by Prof. Manuel Braga da Cruz, Rector of CATÓLICA-LISBON. As a sign of her gratitude, Isabel Jonet made an emotional speech, which drew applause from all present.
The Career Award ceremony ended with a cheerful cocktail, where the alumni had the opportunity to share experiences, network and strengthen the "CATÓLICA-LISBON Spirit".
